    Baby Sheepskin Rug - Ivory

    $89.00 $150.00

Baby Sheepskin Rug (38"x27" or 97cmx68cm)

Specially treated, eco-freindly, hypoallergenic baby lambskin.

Your baby will love the feel and the warmth of a Premium Grade Australian Sheepskin Baby Rug.

Why are they called Baby Rugs? Well first of all, they are made baby size. They measure approximately 38" x 27". Perfect for fitting into a bassinette, cot, pram or stroller. Babies love to lie on wool - it is warm, cuddly, and soft. (NB: If laying baby to sleep on a sheepskin rug, please cover the rug with a sheet or blanket and lay baby on their back only).

Here in Australia, we put sheepskins in our prams or strollers to ensure our babies back and kidneys are kept warm, and to make their ride super-comfortable. We also strongly believe in babies having "tummy-time", so we lay our babies down on a sheepskin rug where they can practise their neck-strengthening and crawling in comfort. ( Again, in the interests of safety, never leave your baby unattended when face-down on the rug).

As babies mature, their sheepskin rug becomes a favorite mat to play on and a comforter to cuddle up with.

The rug is machine washable and has been specially sanitised to protect our beloved babies from bacteria.

      Baby Lambskin benefits:

      Soft & Comforting
Soothes & cushions baby with soft comforting wool fibres.
      Summer & Winter
Densely packed wool fibres keep baby warm and cosy in winter. In warm weather, they absorb moisture and release it into the air, keeping baby dry and comfortable.
Can be used at home, in the car or wherever baby goes.
      Long lasting
Keeps soft, cushioning and supportive after years of laundering and use.
Just spot clean spills with a damp cloth. Machine wash with Ugg Shampoo & Conditioner and dry as required.

      Genuine Sheepskin Washing Instructions
Our unique tanning processes enables your Sheepskin to be easily hand or machine washed. It is important not to use hot water when washing Sheepskins as this may damage the pelt of the Sheepskin.

      Hand Washing
Hand wash in cold (water not to exceed 50 degrees Fahrenheit/10 degrees Celsius) using a mild detergent. We recommend Sheepskin Shampoo & Conditioner
Do not use soap or washing powders containing enzymes or bleach, or which are alkaline. Do not use fabric softeners.
Rinse thoroughly in cold water. Hand squeeze as much water from the Sheepskin as possible or spin in the washing machine.

      Machine Washing
Use the 'wool wash' cycle on your washing machine and wash in warm water (max 40degreesC/105degreesF). Use a mild liquid detergent suitable for washing machines.
We recommend Sheepskin Shampoo & Conditioner . Do not use soap or washing powders containing enzymes or bleach, or which are alkaline.

The Sheepskin may be tumble dried on the 'cool'setting.
Do not use 'hot' setting as excessive heat may damage the sheepskin. Alternatively, hang the Sheepskin outside to dry naturally, avoiding direct sunlight.
The sheepskin can also be professionally dry-cleaned
